This past summer I lost my dear Dad to cancer. I have been thinking a lot about him lately, and just want to write a little about him!
My Dad was the most loving, patient and forgiving man I have ever met. I don't ever remember him yelling or doing anything hurtful to anyone. Everyone who met him was immediately drawn to his warm personality and his gentle ways. Even in the hospice while he was so sick and in pain, the nurses could tell that he was special... A couple of them started asking questions about the church when they would come in to care for him. I know he was doing missionary work in spirit even then. He loved the gospel and wasn't afraid to let anyone know it. He was such a great example to me and my family. He had faith even up until the end, when most people would have given up! We love and miss him, but know that we will be with him again someday. Until then we will keep his warm smile in our hearts!

He was a very extraordinary man! You are lucky to have been a part of his family, and I only wish I'd been around more. Not only to know your parents better, but you as well.
By the way, your kids are such cuties! All of them, and the pic of Josslyn at her blessing looks just like you!
HI Kath,
I always enjoy hearing daughters talk about their fathers. There really is a sweet bond that forms between the two. I obviously didn't know your dad that well but he was absolutely darling. I loved seeing him at the family gatherings 'cause he just looked so dang cute!
