So much for vaccines!

This morning as we were getting ready for church, I noticed some red spots on Parkers chest and back.  I haven't had much experience with Chicken Pox, so we showed Treven to see what he thought.  He was also unsure.  As a precaution we kept him home from church... just in case!  Gma Bev came over tonight and was pretty sure that what Parker has is Chicken Pox.  GREAT!  I am shocked because I thought that the vaccine was supposed to keep this from happening, however, the triage nurse at the ped's office informed me that kids that have been vaccinated can still get the virus, but that it would be a milder case than someone who has not been vaccinated.  Luckily he is not covered in them (yet)!  Here's hoping that my other 3 kids don't get them... or maybe I want them to!
