Hi Goober...it looks awesome...how fun to have a new house to fix up...congrats...you deserve it! and thank for helping out mom....you're a great person! i love you! love, Kari
REALLY cute - Katlyn's room is painted in "shy little piglet" which looks a lot like that. You'll be glad you left 1/2 unpink, cause it gets a little - much. but I love with the green. Of course katlyn being 13 (wow almost 14), she has pink-and leopard. (no hannah montana or miley cyrus tho whom she abhores) but we have made cute leopard and pink curtains and have jungle animals and plants that she just loves, lots of leopard blankets and touches and even pictures of the big cats on her walls, pretty cute. Girls rooms are fun! Ashley's is just sky blue with turquoises, blues, lavenders, etc. nothing too fun. And then since we had Joey with us our bathroom is unisex, beachy with like old fashioned surfer stuff. When they were little (maybe you might remember) we had a pooh bear bathroom (i love decorating bathrooms) but now that Joey is not living with us, I am DESPERATE to redo their bathroom, but no one can see it as a financial priority so I am stuck with it. But it's the houses publice bathroom too, I just think it would be soooo fun to do in that (i've seen at BBandB) feathered curtain with different couture things, high heeled shoes and such, and the accesories are so dang cute. And caues I set up dressing tables in the girls rooms the second they started wearing makeup, we don't have any of that stuff all over the bathroom (the smartest thing I ever did as a mother to daughters, just a tip, never let them put on makeup in the bathoom, set up a mirror with a light over it and a power strip for curlers, dryers, etc. with the desk in their room, and get them a good makeup box and have them always get ready in THEIR room. it saves from "she used my such and such" and from that makeup explosion that happens each morning from 7th grade to I don't know when! I'm so serious! The ONLY bad thing is that they each have had to have their own blow dryers, curlers and straighteners as well as hair and makeup products, but it has saved on TONS of frustration, I know it!) That was my mothering of more than 2 daughters tip of the day. I've babbled here... but anyway - it's adorable. Will she and baby share a room?
Cute!! I think we're going to re-paint Raegan's room and add chair rail too. I feel so bad that Sophie's room is so much cuter than Raegan's. Poor older sister!
Soo cute Kath!!! You are really good at putting stuff like that together!! Can't wait to see the finished room!! P.S If you need help painting rooms at your large and in charge house.. let me know! We could make a party out of it! P.S.S I am still waiting to take those sewing classes... haha! love ya!
