Not so fun without Daddy!

Well yesterday was not so fun for Mommy! I never realized how much I need Treven around as I did last night. After what proved to be a long day with 3 wild boys, I was ready for my tag team partner to take over at about dinner time... only he wasn't here. For some reason (wouldn't be because Mommy gets cranky and tired about then) my boys eat better for Treven and they have this whole bedtime routine down with him. It just wasn't working for me, and they were driving me nuts! Needless to say it was way past bedtime before any of them got to sleep and Mommy had a couple of extra warm bodies in my bed before the night was over. One night down... 3 more to go!

Treven and Ted got to NYC after a long day of traveling. I got this picture from him this morning. They are at the John Lennon - Imagine Memorial in Central Park. He said they were imagining. I told him I was imagining I was there with him! I love NY and Central Park! (For those of you who don't know him, that is Ted with the white hair holding the camera!)

Ev was excited this morning because they are having a "Teddy Bear Picnic" at his preschool today, so he got to take a sack lunch and his favorite teddy bear with him. Here is a cute picture that I took when I was dropping him off! What a handsome boy!

I understand how you feel about not having daddy around for bed time, and whatnot when it seems like your going to lose it if you don't have him there.
And I am so jealous that he is in NY! I haven't been back since that time right after I got married when we went with Chelsea and Sarah. I always want to go though.

Sorry you're missing Treven but absence makes the heart grow fonder....You have definately earned yourself an alone trip after these two of Trev's, just focus on that!

Ev looks darling with his teddy bear, Ella had a great time too! Isn't it funny how kids get super excited about the littlest events?! So easy to please.
-sorry i cut you off driving at pre-school that day!
