So as most of you know this week is the first week back to school for Mesa schools. Parker has been counting down the days for the past couple of months, and could not wait to start school again. I can't believe that I have a child old enough to be in second grade already. We spent some time this past weekend going school clothes/shoe shopping along with buying the school supplies he needed. Last Thursday we got to go meet his new teacher and see his classroom. He was really excited because he already knew his teacher (she used to be the librarian at the school). I am really hoping he will have a great year!
Evrett is a little sad that he doesn't get to start school for a couple more weeks, but he is really looking forward to going back to Preschool.
Fletcher may be starting Preschool in the next couple of months as well, which will be great for him. We are working with Mesa Public Schools to get him into a special program for children with speech delays. He has started talking so much more and has made lots of progress with the therapists that he works with.... it will just be that much better once he gets into a routine and environment where they can work with him 3 times a week.

Yay! Now you get a little break during the day with the kiddos off to school.
That'll be nice if you can get Fletcher into that preschool program. I've heard of that with other kids, or maybe something similar, and it's always seemed to work out well.
You feeling any better?
